West Platte Selects New Speech Language Pathologist

Weston, MO, April 4, 2019 The West Platte Board of Education has selected Sherri Glenn M.S., CCC-SLP, as the next Speech Language Pathologist for the West Platte R-II School District.

Sherri comes to West Platte with an extensive background in Speech and Language Pathology. After graduating with a Masters in Speech and Language Pathology from Central Missouri State University, she began her career as a therapist working in the clinical field, but has worked as an SLP for School of the Osage, as well as the Liberty and Kearney School Districts. Sherri comes to West Platte after serving the Warsaw R9 School District for the past 11 years. In addition, Sherri works with a Missouri First Steps team, providing speech and language services to children and their families.

Sherri is originally from Norborne, Missouri. She and her husband of 24 years, Keith Glenn, have two children. Keegan Glenn, 19, currently in his freshman year in college in Springfield, Missouri; and Jessie Glenn, 18, who is a senior at Warsaw R9, and will be attending the University of Missouri in the fall.

When asked about the opportunity to serve as Speech Language Pathologist for the West Platte R-II School District, Sherri was very excited. “I am delighted and honored to become part of the West Platte School District. I look forward to meeting and working with the West Platte Administration, Faculty, Parents, and Students, and becoming part of this West Platte community.”
