Mr. Rinehart has nine years of experience as a school administrator, six years as a high school principal and three years as superintendent of schools. Mr. Rinehart began his career as a science teacher and coach at North Callaway R-I School District, then taught science and coached football for four years at Clinton School District before serving as head football coach for a year at Appleton City. His career continued for 14 years in the Centralia R-VI School District serving as science, physical education, vocational teacher, athletic director, A+ Coordinator and high school principal. John currently is working toward an Ed.D. from the University of Missouri with the desire to complete the degree in the near future.

Mr. Rinehart grew up and attended school in the rural community of Worth County R-III School District. After graduating from Worth County, he attended Northwest Missouri State University and received his bachelor's degree. John earned a master's degree and specialist's degree from William Woods University in Fulton. His wife, Shana, is also a teacher. The couple has two daughters, Raegan, 14, and Addison, 10.
