The West Platte Department of Special Services has programming available for students with disabilities, students who qualify for Section 504, students who are homeless, students who are homebound, and students who are English Language Learners.
The West Platte Department of Special Services provides a free appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment for students with identified special needs. Our goal is to support students with disabilities to help them achieve to their full potential. Parents with concerns who believe a disability may be the basis for the problems with their child's school progress can contact the special services department at the child's school, the Principal, the child's Guidance Counselor, or the Director of Special Services.
