Enroll at West Platte

Thank you for entrusting your child’s education to the West Platte School District! Our mission is to develop students with healthy physical, emotional, and intellectual balance that will prepare them to become lifelong learners and productive members of an enlightened civilized society. We take the task seriously and we welcome your involvement along the way. Students are most successful when a strong partnership exists between school and home and we are very fortunate to live in a community that places a high priority on supporting our young people in a first rate educational program.

Use the link below to enroll with the West Platte School District. After you fill out the enrollment application your application will be reviewed and you will receive an e-mail at the address you provide to begin filling our Enrollment forms. If you have any questions during this process please review the user guides at the bottom of this page, or contact the school building directly.

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

Below are the items that are required for student enrollment: 
  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Residency, such as
    • Property tax statement
    • Utility bill/agreement
    • Real estate contract
    • Legal property description
    • Rental agreement/receipt
    • Telephone bill
  • Student Health Inventory
  • Immunization Records
  • Custody papers, including a copy of the dissolution decree that stipulates custody in cases of parental divorce.
  • Records from Prior School (if transferring)

Parents or legal guardians will need to fill out a transfer request to receive records from the prior school. Parents or legal guardians can bring documentation in to expedite the process. If parents bring unofficial transcripts in, students can begin classes immediately, otherwise, students need to wait until the prior school sends records.
